With more than two million copies sold world wide, there are a lot of Bloodborne fans out there excited to get the new DLC expansion pack. Here’s what you need to know about the Bloodborne The Old Hunters release date, price and official trailer.

It is on the heels of this milestone (two million copies) that we can confirm that the highly anticipated expansion for Bloodborne is almost upon us. The wait is almost over, and a new nightmare is almost here…,” said Masaaki Yamagiwa, producer at Sony Computer Entertainment Japan Studio in a blog post.

Bloodborne The Old Hunters release date and price

The Old Hunters expansion pack for Bloodborne will be released on 24 November so there’s not long to wait. What was originally planned as two separate packs will now be available as a single DLC (downloadable content).

You can pre-order it now from the PlayStation Store for £15.99 and you’ll get a free PS4 Theme.

You may also be interested to discover that the Game of the Year edition will be released on 25 November. This, as it stands, will be the only way of buying a physical copy of The Old Hunters.

“Set in a nightmare world where hunters from the past are trapped forever, explore brand new stages full of dangers, rewards and deadly beasts to overcome. You’ll find multiple new outfits and weapons to add to your arsenal as well as additional magic to wield and add more variety to your combat strategy,” said Yamagiwa.

As well as ‘improvements’ The Old Hunters DLC brings new features such as The League, which is a band of hunters bound by an oath of a single purpose.

“By aligning yourself to The League, led by a mysterious figure in a constable’s garb and bucket helmet, you can assist other players online in the game and compete in The League’s online rankings leaderboard.”

In addition, players will also be able to use The League cane and summon co-op NPCs within the game. There will be Simon’s Bowblade weapon, additional cop-op NPC hunters and a new enemy boss called Ludwig.

It has also been confirmed that anyone who has, or soon will, earned the Platinum Trophy will receive a voucher code for an exclusive PS4 Theme. This will be the only way to obtain it.
